Your Local Vet - Dr Jarko Dobes
Jarko is one of Vets4Pets’ six practice partners. He manages the Angle Vale practice for the group. Dr Dobes has acquired multiple degrees and qualifications over the last eleven years of small animal practice.

His first degree in veterinary medicine was obtained in Sarajevo, Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 1996 he decided to migrate to Australia to further his professional career.


Soon after arriving he completed a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland.

In 2004 he secured a postgraduate course in feline medicine and in 2007, after rigorous examinations, obtained a Membership in Small Animal Medicine (MACVS).

Jarko's special interests are canine and feline internal medicine. In his spare time he is busy with his young family and tries to find time to pursue some fishing and cooking.
